Diversity

      Difference or variety. These towards are somewhat simple, but yet still some up so much. Wherever you go you encounter diversity. From the grocery store to school, you see some sort of diversity. In fact there are so many types of diversity it would take way more than 500 words to adequately explain them all. So in an effort to simplify the vast topic I will simply just list all the types of diversity and give a brief description of each, as brought forth by www.wikipedia.com:

• Antenna diversity- a method of wireless communication that use two or more antennas to improve the quality and reliability of the link
• Diversity in businesses- the business tactic which encourages variety to better serve a heterogeneous customer base
• Diversity in politics- the political and social policy of encouraging tolerance for people of different backgrounds
• Diversity Jurisdiction- a concept under which U.S. federal courts can hear suits between parties from different states
• a method for improving the reliability of a message signal by using multiple communications channels
• Diversity training- the process of educating employees, students or volunteers to function in a diverse environment
• Ethnic diversity- multiculturalism, the acceptance of multiple ethnic cultures

• Diversification in finances- involves spreading investments
• Diversification of the market- is a corporate strategy to decrease market penetration
• Diversity index- something that indicates about difference from one root to its head
